THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME

It was exciting to find pre-existing content online to engage Web site visitors, enhance their experience and allow the Web site to meet or exceed realty industry standards. Better yet, we made arrangements to use these materials at no cost to the client.

The Challenges
- Set a Realtor's Web site apart from the competition
- Provide informative content to address the varied needs of San Francisco homeowners
- Update the Web site's look and feel
The Solution - Insite Unlimited Designs a Home Base for Future Homeowners
Abbe Day-Merchant's Web site provides the information San Francisco home buyers and sellers need.
The San Francisco realty market attracts everyone from first time buyers to growing families in need of larger homes to empty-nesters looking to downsize. The area also includes an incredible range of house types and styles. To help buyers and sellers navigate this complex market, the Web site now includes expanded resources, some of which were provided free of charge, with permission, through the Realtor's membership in the National Association of Realtors. Arrangements were made with the Realtor's corporate office to use an existing, interactive map of San Francisco neighborhoods and a mortgage calculator rather than add the expense of building new ones for the site. By incorporating useful information into the site instead of relying on links, prospective buyers and sellers stay on the Realtor's site rather than wander onto the Internet where they might find a different Realtor for their transactions. Finally, based on a marketing suggestion by Insite Unlimited, the Web pages and imported content were tailored to match elegant designs found in the Realtor's stationery to create a cohesive marketing presence.
The Outcome
- New and returning clients can more easily locate Abbe Day-Merchant using Internet search engines.
- The Realtor's one-stop Web site keeps potential clients from leaving the site to seek out key information they need to make home buying/selling decisions.
- Web site production costs were significantly reduced by capitalizing on resources and graphics available to the business owner.
